TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Teaching is not simply an occupation or pastime. Teaching is a mindset; a mindset in which we grow, learn and explore new possibilities each and every day. As a teacher, I have the opportunity to create a learning environment that caters to each student’s individuality. By offering a variety of differentiated ways to explore, create and synthesize curriculum, every student is able to learn and flourish to their fullest potential. The mindset of teaching goes far beyond the curriculum. Teachers have the ability to positively impact students lives each and every day. In my classroom students will be valued, respected and appreciated.
